IMPERANON Sign With NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS
October 14, 2003Finland's IMPERANON have signed a multi-album deal with Nuclear Blast Records.
The group, whose members range in age from 17 to 24, are described in an official press release as "the future metal band from Finland! Fans [of] CHILDREN OF BODOM, NIGHTWISH and SONATA ARCTICA will very soon add [IMPERANON] to their list of favorite bands from Finland and many others will follow!"
IMPERANON will enter Sonic Pump Studios in November with engineer Nino Laurenne and producer Titus Hjelm to record their debut album, tentatively due in May/June 2004. The CD will be mixed by Mikko Karmila and mastered at the famous Finnvox Studios in Helsinki.
The band's Spring 2003 demo, which landed the group their deal with Nuclear Blast, has been posted at their official web site. The songs available for download are as follows:
